ABOUT Victor
Victor Xu is a professional pianist, composer, recording artist, and music producer with a diverse musical background spanning jazz, pop, R&B, country, rock, hip-hop, and more. He is a recipient of the Oliver Lower Prize in Jazz Piano and the Oscar Peterson Scholarship, and has performed at notable events including the Juno Awards Opening Night, TD Jazz Festival, and FFDN Festival.
As an educator, Victor offers a well-rounded approach that balances technical development with creativity and expression. Drawing from extensive real-world performance and studio experience, he creates engaging, personalized lessons tailored to each student’s goals and musical interests.
Whether students are mastering classical repertoire, learning their favourite pop songs, or writing original music, Victor’s curriculum adapts to their individual aspirations. By combining strong musicianship with modern techniques, he helps students build confidence, versatility, and a lifelong enjoyment of music.
