Graeme Gerussi is a Hamilton-based musician, multi-disciplinary artist, educator, and parent of twin boys. His passion for the arts began in arts-focused schools and continued through studies at Central Technical School, George Brown College, and OCAD University. A multi-instrumentalist specializing in drums, percussion, vocals, and ukulele, Graeme has performed widely and contributed to children’s television programs including Big Comfy Couch, Miikshi, and Go Togo.

Inspired by his experience as a parent, Graeme shifted his focus to early childhood music education, completing the Music in Early Childhood and Introduction to Orff Pedagogy certificate programs at the Oscar Peterson School of Music at the Royal Conservatory of Music. He continues to develop his practice through Reggio Emilia-inspired learning, embracing child-led, play-based experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and exploration. Graeme currently delivers music and animation programming with Arts For All’s Artists in Neighbourhoods and After School Arts Program, leads MusicSparks, a pilot outdoor music program for young children, and facilitates arts activities for the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts’ school field trip programs. Through instruments, games, puppetry, and storybooks, he creates joyful, inclusive spaces where children are encouraged to explore music, movement, and storytelling at their own pace.
