Ivanna Monnar is a local musician, who began studying flute from a young age and went on to attend McMaster University’s School of the Arts. She mentored under David Gerry and Sara Traficante and received her Honours Bachelor in Music with a focus in flute and piccolo pedagogy. She has played in numerous groups including the McMaster Flute ensemble, McMaster Concert Band and local community bands throughout Hamilton. Ivanna has a focus in classical flute playing, with the goal of achieving excellence in technique and sonority.
