MEET THE INSTRUCTOR

Rylan Allen

Rylan has been part of the HCA Team since the Summer of 2020 and has loved working alongside such fantastic artists.  He graduated from Sheridan’s Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance Program in 2019 and has worked as a performer, accompanist, dance captain, and choreographer in Hamilton, Toronto, and Niagara Falls.

At HCA, he teaches the Novice Triple Threat class, where he works with young students and helps them develop self confidence through singing, dancing, and acting.

He is also the Music Director for both Junior and Senior Musical Theatre Ensemble classes, where he transcribes sheet music, teaches songs, and records tracks that accompany the students in their end-of-term recitals. He also helps strengthen student’s musicianship skills through harmony work, sight reading, and repetition.

Rylan would also like to share with you that HCA is a property on the Hamilton version of the board game Monopoly!
