Campers will work with a host of experienced and passionate members of our Summer Camp Team, including their Camp Director, Instructors, Camp Leaders, and Student Mentors. Our Instructors are seasoned experts in their fields, many of whom are members of the HCA Faculty. Our summer staff is trained in safety protocols, children’s socio-emotional development, and hold up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Checks. Many members of our on-site summer staff and the HCA staff hold their Level C First Aid/CPR training certificates.

Due to limited space and the popularity of our summer camp programs, we require 30 days’ written notice for a full refund.

Our camp days begin at 9 AM. Upon drop-off, guardians will sign their child in and campers will spend the morning warming up and diving into dancing, singing, acting, and visual arts. After a 30-minute lunch break, the fun continues into the afternoon as campers begin to put together their final performance for Friday. Our days wrap up with a cool down and sign out. Camp days are often punctuated with games, crafts, trips to nearby green spaces, and lots of fun!

Yes! All of our summer camps culminate in an on-stage performance in our Black Box Theatre on the second floor. Students will showcase their new skills for friends and family on Friday.

Kinder All Arts Exploration and Gotta Dance performs on Friday at 2:30 PM

Children’s All Arts Exploration, Triple Threat, and the Dance Intensive perform on Friday at 3 PM.

Weather permitting, we often visit nearby green spaces for recreation, snacks, or lunch. When deciding to attend the park, we take inclement weather and heat advisories into account.

The exact locations of off-site spaces are communicated to parents. All students require written permission from their parents or guardians to attend the park. Students without written permission will remain on-site for alternative activities.

As our camp days are high-energy and can be tiring, our Before and After Care programs employ a child-led approach so students can decide how they want to spend their time. With many activities on offer, ranging from arts and crafts, sensory activities, storytelling sessions, and movie days, each child has the freedom to tailor-make their recreational time, with the support of our Camp Leaders and Mentors.
