Summer 2020 Virtual Camp Programs
HCA is excited to offer virtual summer camps that give students experience in musical theatre, drama, visual arts, dancing, and music. Each camp week has a different theme – so students enrolling in multiple weeks of camp will always be working on new projects. These programs will be administered via Zoom. A camp package will be sent before each session begins.
Registration Deadline: THURSDAY by 5pm for the following week’s camp.
We will be splitting camps into different age groups (Entering Gr.1-3, Gr. 4-7) for both Triple Threat and Children’s Arts Exploration. However, HCA reserves the right to combine age groups if necessary.
Triple Threat (Entering Gr. 1-3 & 4-7)
Children receive the enriching and inviting experience of learning how to sing, act and dance! With a new theme each session, students will work with a dedicated team of artist educators to learn new skills, grow in confidence and discover new passions. Each day will include two morning sessions and an afternoon session.

Each day will consist of an actor’s warm up, technique building, collective creation, and rehearsal, offering the opportunity for young people to connect with others and make new friends.
As global circumstances change and social restrictions are loosened across the province, we look forward to collaborating with this group on the possible live production of our created work in the HCA performance space!
The Teen Creation Collective is crafted and facilitated by actors, teaching artists, and theatre creators Stephanie Hope Lawlor and Erica May. Their collaborative teaching approach allows for a safe space for students to explore theatre in a nurturing, fun environment
