ABOUT CAITLIN

Caitlin Collingwood is a Hamilton-based dancer, singer, actor, writer, teacher and pilates instructor. She passionately pursued the arts from a young age, leading her to hone her craft in post secondary. She is an alumni of Randolph College for the Performing Arts, and is a recent graduate of Sheridan College’s Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance program. Recent credits include: Happy End (Theatre Sheridan), The Chorines (Theatre Sheridan), My Fair Lady (Brott Music Festival), A Little Night Music (Randolph College).

As a dancer, Caitlin’s first love has always been ballet. She has trained extensively in the Vagonova style, and graduated from Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts’ professional dance program. With her time at Hamilton City Ballet and the Academy, she danced solo roles in ballet’s such as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Les Sylphides, and Coppelia.

Caitlin’s love for the arts has been a guiding light in her life, a light that she feels honoured to share with others. As a coach and teacher, she is dedicated to students excellence and growth, with a focus on imagination and the magic that dancing brings to young lives. She finds it a joy and privilege to be a part of young dancers artistic journeys, and is thrilled to be joining the HCA family!
