CREATIVE I BALLET
Creative Ballet I continues the exciting introduction to classical ballet through creative movement and expression. Students attend class independently, and engage in high-energy exercises that teach them the foundations of classical ballet while fostering confidence and creativity. Creative I students performing in HCA Celebrates!, our annual June recital, where dancers showcase their newfound passion and skill for an audience!
With three class sections available (Creative IA (ages 3-4), Creative IB (ages 3-4), and Creative (ages 3-5)), you can easily fit classes into your busy schedule.
UNIFORM
- Bodywear: Dancers wear a Capezio CC201C Light Pink Leotard and have a choice of wearing a pink skirt (Capezio N1417C Dance Skirt In Pink) and a dance sweater
- Tights: So Danca TS-73 Footed Light Pink
- Footwear: Capezio 205c Daisy Pink Ballet Slipper OR Bloch S0225 Bunnyhop Ballet Slipper In Pink

Payments can be made each month.

Term Payment Option
Payments can be made three times per year, at the start of each school term.

Extra Fees
Registration Fee (Single Student): $30
Registration Fee (Family): $50
Costume Fee: TBC (for students participating in the year-end recital)

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
Deanne Kearney
Deanne Kearney is a dance teacher, writer, researcher, and critic, currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Dance Studies at York University in Toronto, Ontario. She has completed both her MA and BFA in Dance at York University. She has danced professionally for over ten years and taught dance for over fifteen years. Her dance writing work has been featured in publications such as Dance Magazine, The Dance Current Magazine, Dance International, and Mooney on Theatre. Currently, she provides comprehensive reviews of a wide array of dance performances on her website, The Dance Debrief (DanceDebrief.ca).
