Level VII Ballet
Age Range: 13 – 14
Time Commitment: 3 hrs/week
Level VII Ballet is a continuation of the work developed in Level VI. Physicality, endurance and body articulation will continue to be challenged. Students will train in pointe work once a week and only with the approval of their instructor. Understanding that pointe is a delicate and dedicated art form, only students who present strong skills in their allegro and ankle stability with consistently strong relevé movement patterns will be invited for a pointe shoe fitting. Students who do not yet wear pointe shoes are strongly encouraged to take the pointe section of their class with soft shoes to develop their strength and technique further.
Please note: Not all students in this grade level will be invited to begin working with pointe shoes, as safe dance training is our top priority.
Tuition: $2,684.20 + registration fee ($30 single, $50 for family)
