Intermediate Acting

Age Range: 10 – 12

Time Commitment: 1.5 hr/week

A program designed specifically for returning Junior Acting students and students with prior training to allow them to deepen their understanding of performing on stage. Through studying improv, scene work, collaborative creation and movement, students will gain a better understanding of clear storytelling and theatre etiquette. Students will have the opportunity to participate in several invited performances throughout the year, including a final production in the HCA Black Box Theatre.

Prerequisite: Junior Acting or with instructor’s permission.

TERM ONE: Theatre Craft & Improvisation

TERM TWO: Collective Creation & Playwriting

TERM THREE: Set the Stage: Rehearsal and Performance

TAKE THE STAGE! This program culminates in an invited presentation in June in the HCA Black Box Theatre.

EXPAND YOUR HORIZONS! This program is an excellent complement to Junior Musical Theatre Ensemble.

PLEASE NOTE: This program will require attendance at dress rehearsals and performances in May and/or June (dates TBC).

 

Tuition: $1342.10 + registration fee ($30 single, $50 for family) 

Monthly Payment Plan: $134.21

Term Payment Plan: $447.37

Please note that tuition quoted on the website is based upon the full year. Prices are pro-rated if a student joins at a later date.
