Elementary II Ballet & Pointe
Age Range: 15 – 18
Time Commitment: 4 hr/week
Elementary Ballet introduces a new level of complexity to exercises, allowing dancers to refine their technique. Dancers will continue to develop their artistry through challenging variations. Students are introduced to simplified forms of classical ballet repertoire, designed specifically to complement their technical and artistic ability. Attention is focused on quality of movement, both from a technical and an artistic point of view. Students will exercise their technique in variations, including duets, trios, and small and large groups. Exercises become more complex in preparation for examinations.
Exams may be in-house and evaluated by HCA’s Artistic Director, or through the Society of Classical Ballet (Vaganova Method) and adjudicated by an outside examiner.
Tuition: $3578.94 + registration fee ($30 single, $50 for family)

Absolutely no skirts or leg warmers please.
