GENERAL QUESTIONS
Yes!
The HCA Music School offers 15-minute meet-and-greets between potential students and instructors to ensure the right fit.
We also offer one free trial class for each group class in our dance, theatre, and visual arts schools (excepting short-term workshops), as long as there is space in the class.

On our homepage, you will find a link to our online registration. For arranging private music
classes, we ask that you contact the office first to determine scheduling and availability of music
instructors. In most cases, we will ask that the student complete a free 15 minute meet-and-
greet with the music instructor before online registration proceeds. Our online system does not
accept payment, so the administrative team will follow up regarding payment methods. Please
note that registration is not complete until all payments are received.
There’s no age limit to beginning your arts education journey, and we welcome students of all
ages and abilities. We have a robust adult class schedule, and are always seeking to add more
workshops and courses for our older students.
We require 30 days notice and a cancellation form. The student is welcome to attend class during this 30 day period.
We offer monthly and term-based payment plans for our year-long classes. For short
classes/workshops, we require payment in full.
Monthly Installments:
First payment, includes the registration fee and first month’s installment in one cheque or credit
card payment, PLUS post-dated cheques or pre-authorized credit card payments dated the first
of each month, for the remaining months of the year.
Session/Term Installments:
First payment, includes the registration fee and installment fee for the fall term in one cheque
or credit card payment, PLUS two(2) post-dated cheques or pre-authorized credit card
payments dated the beginning of each term.
Payment in Full:
Registration fee plus the full tuition fee in one cheque/e-transfer/credit card payment.
We prorate the tuition based on the number of weeks left in the year. For shorter
courses/workshops, we unfortunately cannot prorate the tuition.
For our dance classes, we have a dress code for each level and class, which you can find in our Student Handbook or each class page. Uniforms are not included in tuition. Outdoor shoes are not permitted in the studio.
