The Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts acknowledges that we are situated on the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas peoples. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, a historic agreement between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabek to share and steward the resources around the Great Lakes.

To learn more about Indigenous history, culture, and ongoing initiatives in Canada, we encourage you to explore resources such as the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR) and Indigenous Services Canada. These platforms offer valuable insights and educational materials to deepen your understanding and support reconciliation efforts across the country.
