BEGINNER ADULT BALLET
Beginner Adult Ballet is designed for older teens and adults who may be new to the art form. Master the fundamentals of ballet while enhancing strength and flexibility, exploring barre and centre work, and developing a sense of artistry by learning variations.
No previous ballet experience required.
UNIFORM
- Bodywear: Leotard or snug fitting attire (leggings and tank tops accepted)
- Tights (recommended): So Danca TS-74 Footed Light Pink
- Footwear: Any light pink canvas ballet slipper

Payments can be made three times per year, at the start of each school term.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
Yancieth Paniagua Garita
Yancieth is an experienced dancer, teacher and choreographer whose passion for dance and performance started at the age of six. She completed her training in Classical Ballet and Dance at the Conservatory of Castella in her home country of Costa Rica with additional training at the Royal Academy of Dance in Monterrey, Mexico. She holds advanced degrees in Dance (National University of Costa Rica) and Dance Education (University of San Marcos, Costa Rica), and has trained at Danza Contemporánea de Cuba, in Havana, Cuba, and in Canada at the Hamilton City Ballet and the Teacher Training Program of Performing Arts Educators of Canada (PAE). She has danced in several ballets including Don Quixote (2006), Giselle (2007), The Nutcracker (2011, 2012), and Alice in Wonderland (2016).
Yancieth guides and nurtures students as they develop strong classical fundamental ballet skills while encouraging their passion, creativity and love of dance. Yancieth hopes to inspire students with her own love of learning.
