JAZZ I
Jazz I is the perfect starting point for young beginners eager to dive into jazz! Set in a vibrant, high-energy environment, this class introduces a stylistic dance vocabulary. Students will learn fundamental jazz techniques, including body isolation, transitions, and progressions across the floor.
UNIFORM
- Bodywear: Leotard or tank and snug-fitting black shorts (Capezio TB113C/TB113)
- Tights: Tights are optional. If transitioning from ballet class, convertible tights are recommended.
- Footwear: Black slip-on jazz shoe, any brand.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
Rachel Romanoski
Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Rachel Romanoski is a Canadian based actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, and model. With her B.A in Performance Arts and extensive years of training, Rachel has performed, instructed, and choreographed throughout Ontario, Canada including Hamilton, Niagara, Mississauga, and Toronto. As a professional dance instructor and choreographer, Rachel has been training since the age of five in various styles of dance including Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballroom, Latin, Heels, Ballet, and Pointe. Rachel has provided instruction and produced movement workshops for Performing Art Seminars and International World Summits. She has performed in various competitions throughout the United States and Canada such as World Of Dance, and was President and Teacher of Hip Hop clubs and dance classes at Brock University. Rachel empowers her students in finding their confidence to transform their technique and express themselves in a judgement free environment. Rachel uses her performance skills to inspire and motivate others to become the best versions of themselves and is an enthusiastic individual eager to spread her knowledge and passion with others wishing to pursue the same!
