Students in this program will participate in an active, creative program focusing on all aspects of theatrical performance. During the course of the year students will develop their skills in voice and diction (both individually and chorally), rhythm and timing, stage movement, character development, theatrical improvisation, story adaptation and original script writing, prop making, and performing for an audience. Theatre arts also encourage development of many areas of personal growth such as self-confidence, cooperation, communication skills, group dynamics, and body awareness.
